I was born in 1960 to Hungarian emigrant parents who escaped Communism in 1957 to come to the United States to seek a better life. Born and raised in Southern California and college educated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I moved to San Diego in 1981 and married Linda in 1984. For the past 15 years, we have lived here in Alpine and have raised our twins in a wonderful neighborhood. Our children attend 6th Grade under the guidance and tutelage of a very fine staff of teachers, administrators, PTA members, and volunteers. We are active members of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, and I am a member of the Knights of Columbus, an organization dedicated to providing community service and assistance to people in need. I have served in several positions of leadership within the Parish.

| My leisure activities include being an avid snow skier, mountain biker, managing my son's Little League team, managing and playing drums in a band and playing in our church choir, and playing catcher on an adult baseball team. | ||
